百合概述
百合为百合科植物百合、细叶百合、麝香百合及其同属多种植物鳞茎的鳞叶，性喜凉爽，较耐寒，喜干燥，怕水涝。对土壤要求不严，但在土层深厚、肥沃疏松的砂质壤土中，鳞茎色泽洁白、肉质较厚。百合鲜食干用均可，是中国传统出口特产。
百合除含有蛋白质21.29%、脂肪12.43%、还原糖11.47%、淀粉1.61%，及钙、磷、铁、每百克含1.443毫克维生素B、21.2毫克维生素C等营养素外，还含有一些特殊的营养成分，如秋水仙碱等多种生物碱。

《本经逢原》记载：“百合，能补土清金，止嗽，利小便。仲景百合病，兼地黄用之，取其能消瘀血也。”

百合性状

呈长椭圆形，表面类白色、淡棕黄色或微带紫色，有数条纵直平行的白色维管束；顶端稍尖，基部较宽,边缘薄，微波状，略向内弯曲。质硬而脆，断面较平坦，角质样。无臭，味微苦。
