Property
Bitter, neutral; liver and stomach meridians entered.
Actions
Promote circulation of blood, stimulate the menstrual flow, resolve swelling and promote milk secretion.
Indications
Amenorrhea, sores and boils, urine with blood, difficult labour, incised wound, galactostasis.
Dosage and Administrations

为石竹科植物麦蓝菜的干燥成熟种子。夏季果实成热、果皮尚未开裂时采割植株，晒干，打下种子，除去杂质，再晒干。生于田边或耕地附近的丘陵地，尤以麦轩四田中最为普遍。除华南外，全国各地区都有分布。《本经》记载：“金疮止血，逐痛出刺，除风痹内寒。久服轻身耐老增寿。”

【性味】 味苦，性平。
【归经】 归肝、胃经。
呈球形，直径约2mm。表面黑色，少数红棕 色，略有光泽，有细密颗粒状突起，一侧有1凹陷的纵沟。质硬，胚乳白色，胚弯曲成环，子叶2。气微，味微涩、苦。
