鱼腥草概述
是中国药典收录的草药，为三白草科植物蕺菜的干燥地上部分。夏季茎叶茂盛花穗多时采割，除去杂质，晒干。
鱼腥草各家论述
据《医林纂要》记载：“行水，攻坚，去瘴，解暑。疗蛇虫毒，治脚气，溃痈疽，去瘀血。”
鱼腥草性状
【性味】 味辛，性微寒。
【归经】 归肺经。
茎扁圆形，皱缩而弯曲，长20～30cm；表面黄棕色，具纵棱，节明显，下部节处有须根残存；质脆，易折断。叶互生，多皱缩。
展平后心形，长3～5，宽3～4.5cm；上面暗绿或黄绿色，下面绿褐色或灰棕色；叶柄细长，基部与托叶合成鞘状，穗状花序项生。
搓碎有鱼腥气，味微涩。以叶多、色绿、有花穗、鱼腥气浓者为佳。
