凤尾七概述
为景天科植物小丛红景天的干燥全草，全年可采，因其地上部分红棕色，形如凤尾，故得此名。民间作强壮药，另外也是治疗甲状腺并的主要配方；小丛红景天为渐危种，是民间珍贵的草药，具有很高的药用价值和开发价值。
凤尾七各家论述
据《陕西中草药志》记载：“益肾养肝，调经活血；主劳热骨蒸，干血痨，头晕目眩，月经不调。”
凤尾七性状
【性味】 味甘、微苦，性平。
【归经】 归肾，肝经。
根头部粗大，其上残存多数丛生的茎基部，断面中空，茎基有芽，根部纺锤形，表面凹凸不平，被灰棕色栓皮，片状脱落，脱落处颜色较深，暗棕色至紫棕色，气微，味苦。
