女贞子概述(滋补肝肾 明目乌发)
别名 女贞实、冬青子、白蜡树子、酒女贞子
为木犀科植物女贞的果实。冬季果实成熟时采摘，除去枝叶晒干，或将果实略熏后，晒干；或置热水中烫过后晒干。
女贞子各家论述
《本草经疏》记载：“女贞子，气味俱阴，正入肾除热补精之要品，肾得补，则五脏自安，精神自足，百病去而身肥健矣。其主补中者，以其味甘，甘为主化，故能补中也。”
女贞子性状
【性味】 味甘、苦，性凉。
【归经】 归肝、肾经。
呈卵形、椭圆形或肾形，长6～8.5mm，直径3.5～5.5mm。表面黑紫色或灰黑色，皱缩不平，基部有果梗痕或具宿萼及短梗。体轻。外果皮薄，中果皮较松软，易剥离，内果皮木质，黄棕色，具纵棱，破开后种子通常为1粒，肾形，紫黑色，油性。
无臭，味甘、微苦涩。以粒大、饱满、肉质、色黑紫，无泥沙、杂质者为佳。
