桂圆概述(益心脾 补气血 安神志)
为无患子科龙眼属植物龙眼的假种皮。夏、秋二季采收成熟果实，干燥，除去壳、核，晒至干爽不黏。因其种圆黑光泽，种脐突起呈白色，看似传说中“龙”的眼睛，所以得名龙眼。至今，龙眼仍然是一味补血安神的重要药物。其所含维生素P量多。
研究发现，龙眼肉对子宫癌细胞的抑制率超过90%，妇女更年期是妇科肿瘤好发的阶段，适当吃些龙眼有利健康。

桂圆性状
【性味】 味甘，性温。
【归经】 归心、脾经。
生药为由顶端纵向裂开的不规则块片，长约1.5厘米，宽1.5～3.5厘米，厚不及1毫米，表面黄棕色，半透明；靠近果皮的一面皱缩不平，粗糙；靠近种皮的一面光亮而有纵皱纹。质柔韧而微有粘性，常粘结呈块状。气香，味浓甜而特殊。
