夜明砂概述(清热明目 活血消积)
别名 天鼠屎、鼠法、石肝、黑砂星、檐老鼠屎
为蝙蝠科动物蝙蝠等多种蝙蝠的干燥粪便。全年可采，以夏季为宜。到山洞中铲取，除去泥土，拣净杂质，晒干。
原名天鼠屎，被《神农本草经》列为中品，为少常用中药。

据《纲目》记载：“夜明砂及蝙蝠皆厥阴肝经血分药也，能活血消积，故所治目翳盲障，疟疾疳惊，淋带，瘰疬，痈肿，皆厥阴之病也。”
夜明砂性状
【性味】 味辛，性寒
【归经】 归肝经
为长椭圆形颗粒，两端微尖，长5-7mm，直径约2mm。表面略粗糙，棕褐色或灰棕色；破碎者呈小颗粒状或粉末状。
放大镜下观察，可见棕色或黄棕色有光泽的昆虫头、眼及破碎的翅膜。气微或无，味微苦而微辛。
