Zheng He Gong Fu 政和工夫 Fujian Black Tea is a premium black tea produced in the Fujian province of China. The Fujian black tea is made with a unique processing technique which allows the tea to develop a unique aroma and flavor. This tea has a strong and robust taste, and is perfect for making a cup of tea to enjoy.

Taste:Zhenghe Gongfu has a deep, full body and makes excellent breakfast and afternoon Tea. It is a smooth and mellow Tea with a hint of subtle peppery taste and fragrance. This Tea blends very well with sweetened milk for added flavor and extra smoothness.
Appearance:Beautiful small tightly rolled khaki-colored Tea leaves.

Storage: Keep in cool, dry and no light place

Brewing Guide:We recommend using purple clay or porcelain Tea ware. Rinse Tea cup and Teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of Tea leaves (1-2 Teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep Tea leaves in hot water at 95°c (203°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing. If you like milk with your Tea, add 10 to 15ml of sweetened/plain dairy milk and stir.

Zhenghe Gongfu producing area is in the north of Fujian province that is an region covered with dense forests and criss-crossed with sinuous rivers, with longitudes between 118.33'east and 119.17'east, and latitudes between 27.05'north and 27.23'north. The mountainous area ranging from 200 to 1000 meters in altitude has a mild climate with a up to 260-days frost-free period and a 1600-odd ml rainfall every year. Tea gardens here are mostly located in the gentle mountainous slopes where acid and fertile soil is suitable for growing the Tea cultivar.
