绵萆薢概述
为薯蓣科植物绵萆薢或福州薯蓣的根茎。秋、冬季采挖，除去须根，洗净，切片，晒干。置通风干燥处。
绵萆薢各家论述
《浙江药用植物志》记载：“祛风湿，利湿浊；主风湿痹痛，腰膝酸痛，小便混浊，淋沥，白带。”
绵萆薢性状
【性味】 味苦，性平。
【归经】 归肾、胃经。
为不规则的斜切片或长条状，边缘不整齐，大小不一，厚2～5mm。外皮黄棕色至黄褐色，有稀疏的须根残基，呈圆锥状凸起。切面灰白色至浅灰棕色，黄棕色点状维管束散在。质疏松，略呈海绵状。气微，味微苦。
