柳枝概述
为杨柳科植物垂柳的枝条，全年可采。
出自《本草纲目拾遗》，生于水边湿地。杨柳纵横倒顺，插之皆生。春初生柔夷、即开黄蕊花，至春晚叶长成后，花中结细黑子，蕊落而絮出如白绒，因风而飞。其嫩芽可作饮汤。
柳枝各家论述
据《滇南本草图说》记载：“血凝气滞，风寒外束；小儿痘症，有乌头陷顶，浆升不起者，煎服或浴之。”
柳枝性状
【性味】 味苦，性寒。
【归经】 归胃、肝经。
嫩枝圆柱形，表面微有纵皱纹，黄色。上有交叉排列的芽或残留的三角形斑痕。
质脆易断，断面不平坦，皮部薄而浅棕色，木部宽而黄白色，中央有黄白色髓部。气微，味微苦、涩。
