半枫荷根概述
为梧桐科植物翻白叶树或窄叶半枫荷的根，全年可采，切片，晒干。

【性味】 味辛，甘，性微温。
【归经】 归肝，脾经。
呈不规则的片块状，栓皮表面灰褐色或红褐色，有纵皱纹及疣状皮孔，质坚硬，断面皮部棕褐色；木部红棕色，具细密纹理。纵断面有纵向纹理及不规则的纵裂隙，纤维性，气微，味淡微涩。
