别名 木馒头、凉粉果、木莲、牛奶 子、牛奶油、薜荔果
为桑科植物薜荔的干燥成熟雄性隐花果。秋季雄性隐花果成熟时采收，以沸水浸泡约1分钟，取出，晒干。
奶母果各家论述
《全国中草药汇编》记载：“通乳，利湿，活血，消肿。主乳汁不下，遗精，淋浊，乳糜尿，久痢，痔血，肠风下血，痈肿，疔疮。”
奶母果性状
【性味】 味甘、性平
【归经】 归肾、胃、大肠经
呈梨形或倒卵形,表面黄绿色,黄褐色至黑褐色,长2～7cm,直径1.5～4cm,顶端近截形,微凹,中央有一稍突出的小孔,孔内有膜质的小苞片充塞,孔外通常有细密的褐色绒毛,花托下端渐狭,有的残留有短的果柄.内部生有多数细小黄棕色或红褐色圆球状有光泽的瘿果,内壁口部有多数雄花.
