浮小麦概述(除虚热 止汗)
为禾本科小麦属植物小麦的干燥轻浮瘪瘦的果实，具有益气，除热，止汗之功效。
其含淀粉53%～70%，蛋白质11%，糖类2%～7%，糊精2%～10%，脂肪约1.6%，粗纤维约2%；尚含少量谷甾醇、卵磷脂、尿囊素(allantoin)、精氨酸、淀粉酶、蛋白分解酶及微量维生素B、E。《本草汇言》记载：“卓登山氏曰，此药系小麦之皮，枯浮无肉，体轻性燥，善除一切风湿在脾胃中。如湿胜多汗，以一、二合炒燥，煎汤饮，立止。倘属阴阳两虚，以致自汗、盗汗，非其宜也。”

浮小麦性状
【性味】 味甘，性凉
【归经】 归心经。
干瘪颖果呈长圆形，两端略尖。长约7mm，直径经2.6mm。表面黄白色，皱缩。有时尚带有未脱净的外稃，腹面有一深陷的纵沟，顶端钝形，带有浅黄棕色柔毛，另一端成斜尖形，有脐。质硬而脆，易断，断面白色。无臭，味淡。
