芙蓉叶概述
为锦葵科植物木芙蓉的叶。夏、秋季采收，晒干。对土壤要求不严，但在肥沃、湿润、排水良好的沙质土壤中生长最好。
原产于中国，以成都一带栽培最多，历史最悠久，故成都又有“蓉城”之称。
芙蓉叶各家论述
李时珍《本草纲目》记载："木芙蓉花并叶，气平而不寒不热，味微辛而性滑涎粘，其治痈肿之功，殊有神效。“
芙蓉叶性状
【性味】 味辛，苦，性凉。
【归经】 归肺，肝经。
全体被灰白色星状毛，叶片大，多皱缩破碎，完整者展平后呈卵圆状心形，直径10-20cm，掌状3-7裂，裂片三角形，先端渐尖，基部心形，边缘有钝齿，叶面深绿色，叶背灰绿色，叶脉7-11条，两面突起。叶柄圆柱形，长5-20cm，径约0.3mm，黄褐色。
质脆易碎，气微、味微辛。
