Dian Hong Mao Feng 滇红 Yuannan Black Tea is a premium black tea from Yunnan, China. With a mellow and sweet taste, it is full of natural aroma with a hint of smokiness. Ideal for everyday drinking, this tea has a high percentage of large, fragrant golden buds that make for a satisfying cup.

Brewing Guide:We recommend using purple clay or porcelain Tea ware. Rinse Tea cup and Teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of Tea leaves (1-2 Teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep Tea leaves in hot water at 95°c (203°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing. If you like milk with your Tea, add 10 to 15ml of sweetened/plain dairy milk and stir.

Tea brewed from our Yunnan Black Tea has a reddish brown color. The aroma is strong sugary and floral with a slight roasted undertone. The taste is smooth and sweet and the aftertaste is refreshing and clean.During third century BC, the central area of Yunnan, around present day Kunming (major city), was known as ‘Dian’. The name Dian Hong means "Yunnan Black Tea". Often Yunnan black Teas are referred to as Dian Hong Teas. Yunnan black Teas vary in their flavor and appearance.
