玳玳花概述
为芸香科植物玳玳花的花蕾。5～6月间采摘花蕾，先用急火烘至七、八成干，呈显黄色后，再用文火烘至全干，切勿烘焦。放干燥处，防蛀、防霉。玳玳花全草都含有强心甙和非强心甙的多种成分，见于许多国家的药典之中。
玳玳花各家论述
《福建药物志》记载：“理气宽胸，开胃解酒。主治食欲不振，食后胀闷，恶心呕吐，酒醉。”
玳玳花性状
【性味】 味辛，甘，微苦；性平。
干燥花蕾略呈长卵圆形，长1.5～2厘米，直径6～8毫米。上部较膨大，基部具花柄；花萼绿色，皱缩不平，基部连合，裂片5；花瓣5片，淡黄白色或灰黄色，顶端覆盖成覆瓦状，表面有纵纹；内有雄蕊数束，黄色；中心有雌蕊，呈棒状，子房倒卵形，暗绿色。质脆易碎。气香，味微苦。以干燥、色黄白、香气浓郁、无破碎者为佳。
