别名 臭菜、臭花菜、羊角菜
为白花菜科白花菜属植物白花菜的种子，其全草亦入药。秋季采挖全草，晒干，打下种子。《安徽药材》记载：“散风祛湿，活血止痛。”

《纲目》记载：“煎水，洗痔；捣烂，敷风湿痹痛；擂酒饮，止疟。”
白花菜子性状
【性味】 味苦，辛，性温，小毒
【归经】 归心，脾经
种子扁圆形，直径1-1.5mm，厚约lmm，边缘有一深沟。表面棕色或棕黑色，粗糙不平，于扩大镜下观察，表面有突起的细密网纹，网孔方形或多角形，排列较规则或呈同心环状。纵切面可见“U”字形弯曲的胚，胚根深棕色，子叶与胚根等长，淡棕色，胚乳包干胚外，淡黄色，油质。气无，味苦。以粒饱满，色黑者为佳。
