为菊科植物蟛蜞菊的全草，春、夏季采收全草，秋季挖根，鲜用或切段晒干。
蟛蜞菊各家论述
据《广西药植名录》记载：“破瘀，消肿。主跌打，腹痛，风湿。”
蟛蜞菊性状
【性味】 味甘、微苦，性凉。
茎呈圆柱形，弯曲，表面灰绿色或淡紫色，有纵皱纹，节上有的有细根，嫩茎被短毛；
叶多皱缩，展平后呈椭圆形或长圆状披针形，先端短尖或渐尖，边缘有粗锯齿或呈波状，上表面绿褐色，下表面灰绿色，两面均被白色短毛；头状花序通常单生于茎顶或叶腋，花序梗及苞片均被短毛，苞片2层，灰绿色，舌状花和管状花均为黄色，气微，味微涩。
