【性味】 味辛、微苦，性温，有小毒。
根茎粗短，根丛生，灰黄色，叶片展平后呈长卵形、卵形或三角状卵形，先端急尖或渐尖，
上面中脉两侧有白色去斑，脉上及边缘有柔毛，叶柄有柔毛，可见花，紫褐色，较大，花被管钟状，喉部无膜环。气辛香，有浓烈麻辣味.
