虫白蜡概述(止血 生肌 定痛)
别名 白蜡、虫蜡、蜡膏
虫白蜡为蚧科（介壳虫科）动物白蜡虫的雄虫所分泌的蜡质精制而成，8～9月间采蜡。
清晨用刀将包有蜡质的树枝切下，名曰"蜡花"，放入沸水锅中煮之，使蜡质熔化而浮于水面，冷后凝结成块。取出，再加水加热熔化，过滤后凝固即成。
虫白蜡各家论述
据《本草求真》记载：“虫蜡，味甘气温。按甘益血补中，温能通经活络，故书载能止痛生肌，补虚续绝，与桑螵蛸同有补虚之意，可为外科圣药。”

【性味】 味甘、淡，性温。
【归经】 归肝经。
呈块状，白色或类白色。表面平滑，或稍有皱纹，具光泽。体轻，质硬而稍脆，搓捻则粉碎。断面呈条状或颗粒状。气微，味淡。
