蜡梅花概述
为蜡梅科植物蜡梅的花蕾，在花刚开放时采收。
《纲目》记载：“蜡梅，此物本非梅类，因其与梅同时，香又相近，色似蜜蜡，故得此名。”李时珍在《本草纲目》中说：“腊梅花味甘、微苦，采花炸熟，水浸淘净，油盐调食”，既是味道颇佳的食品，又能“解热生津”。

《青岛中草药手册》记载：“清凉解暑，生津除烦，开胃散郁。主治心烦口渴，气郁胃闷，烫伤，火伤，消化不良，瘿瘤结核等症。”
蜡梅花性状
【性味】 味辛，甘，微苦，性凉，小毒。
【归经】 归肺，胃经。
花蕾圆形、短圆形或倒卵形，长1-1.5cm，宽4-8mm。花被片叠合，下半部被多数膜质鳞片，鳞片黄褐色，三角形，有微毛。气香，味微甜后苦，稍有油腻感。以花心黄色、完整饱满而未开放都为佳。
