小茴香概述(散寒止痛 理气和胃)
别名 谷茴香、谷茴、蘹香
为伞形科植物茴香的干燥成熟果实。秋季果实初熟时采割植株，晒干，打下果实，除去杂质。《本草汇言》：“温中快气之药也。”
小茴香各家论述
《医林纂要》记载：“茴香，大补命门，而升达于膻中之上，命门火固，则脾胃能化水谷而气血生，诸寒皆散矣。肝胆亦行命门之火，肝木气行，则水湿不留，虚风不作，故其功亚于附子，但力稍缓耳。”
小茴香性状
【性味】 味辛，性温。
【归经】 归肝、肾、脾、胃经。
为双悬果，呈圆柱形，有的稍弯曲，长4～8mm，直径1.5～2.5mm。表面黄绿色或淡黄色，两端略尖，顶端残留有黄棕色突起的柱基，基部有时有细小的果梗。分果呈长椭圆形，背面有纵棱5条，接合面平坦而较宽。横切面略呈五边形，背面的四边约等长。
有特异香气，味微甜、辛。
