桃枝概述
为蔷薇科植物桃或山桃的嫩枝，夏季采收，喜阳光和温暖的气候，在肥沃高燥的砂质壤土中生长最好。怕涝，在低洼碱性土壤中生长不良。幼树抗寒力弱，容易冻梢。耐修剪，寿命较短。

桃枝性状
【性味】 味苦；性平
【归经】 归心、胃经
枝条呈圆柱形，长短不一，直径0.5-1cm。表面红褐色，较光滑，有类白点状皮孔。质脆断面黄白色，木部占大部分，中央有白色髓部。气微，味微苦、涩。
